My interests revolve around creating interactive media which focuses on fun in both design style and usability. I have gained media industry experience at Criminal Clothing and E3 Media. I specialize in creating interactive projects in Adobe Flash.

| TITLE: | Sounds Like Fun | |
| DESCRIPTION: | This project consists of a website featuring 4 (5 by grad show) sound based games. The main idea behind the project was to create something fun and different and too experiment with different ways of interacting with sound. The website itself features a bright and colourful interface and and interesting form of navigation, using a floating background to create a fake 3D style. The game vary form beginning sound reactive, mouse sensitive and offer the user a chance to play with and create sounds and patterns. The project is very tactile and there is a lot of opterunies for interaction. As the games are open-ended the user can spend 10 seconds or 10minutes playing them.
I like to look at the project as being less of a functional website with a purpose and more as an experiment into how to create something fun that people will want use out of curiosity. The fact that each game gives almost instant results the user it rewarded very quickly, for very little input there is the chance to gain a lot form the games. |
