| DESCRIPTION: | Rhythmix is a self-contained community website that incorporates a dynamic web-based real-time music mixer. It allows a number of specialist and non-specialist music enthusiasts to upload, share and download music samples, meet people with similar music interests and mix in real-time. It allows a new style of web-based mixing, completely different from the current conventional ‘time-line mixers’ websites such as Splice Music and Bacardi DJ have adopted. It’s function is to transform the user's involvement in online mixing, giving them a much higher degree of control, putting the emphasis on their rhythm and mixing skills, similar to that of a real DJ. Users can customize up to three mixers with samples of their choice and download their favorites to their desktop. | |
