| TITLE: | Zenko | |
| DESCRIPTION: | Zenko attempts to comment on the farcical nature of commercialism by satirically disseminating content of a fake product through a false marketing campaign. The campaign centers around a single product, an innovative new mobile phone, placed within a range of multi-media environments. Zenko guides the user through different forms of advertising, such as: a 3D first person game, several animations and an Asian-style advert – all housed in an uber-branded website and linked with one narrative and theme. In addition, it pushes design boundaries, both aesthetically and conceptually, whilst also attempting to convince the audience the product exists. What was produced was a large body of work that emulates the qualities, a trendy new mobile campaign should. The aim to build a multimedia, multifaceted experience was also achieved, combining all manor of digital methods and software certainly produced an experience that is quite striking to eye. The hope is that users enjoy playing with the piece, and that it reflects the changing paradigm, of the new media landscape it operates from. | |
