I am a 24 year old designer and developer and I have recently finished a course at Bournemouth University in Interactive Media Production. My skills consist of strong HTML, CSS and PHP development in which I can create a range of dynamic applications as well as creative aptitude with print and online graphics using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark Express. I am intending to exercise all my skills in employment that will stretch the boundaries of my knowledge and develop my talents.

| TITLE: | Make A Message | |
| DESCRIPTION: | View Project here
Make a Message is an educational support tool specifically designed for the subject of Citizenship at Key Stage 2 however it has potential applications in a variety of subjects and age groups. The tool itself allows students to create basic websites about subjects they have been learning about during lessons. These sites are created using basic graphics, typographical and colour tools and the ability to upload their own images; each created site will then be fully viewable online. The student creator will also apply keywords or tags to their site with relevance to the subject matter. This will allow their creation to be searched or browsed for, through the Make a Message homepage. The students are also encouraged to search/browse for subjects of interest to them and leave comments on these Make a Message created sites. The educational benefit to this process is the encouragement for students to express opinions about subjects that affect their lives, in a responsible and mature way. |
