| DESCRIPTION: | The Interactive Student Noticeboard (ISN) aims to bring the real life, outdated noticeboards up to date. ISN offers all the different clubs and societies at university the ability to display information and keep members updated in a fun online environment.
Unlike all the normal sites provided by universities ISN gives the clubs and societies a more interesting and interactive alternative to reaching their student base. By creating a ‘real-life’ looking noticeboard the site is familiar yet individual in an online environment. Committee members have the ability to display all kinds of information from dates of socials and contact information, to photos of the latest club activities. Alongside this the societies can personalise their own space by choose from the database of backgrounds provided by ISN. There is also the added ability to have their club rated by students by choosing the rating options in the backend edit section. ISN also incorporates RSS news feeds to keep people interested in the site and keeps them informed with what’s happening at their university. |
